Various people who are calling the IRS on (+001) 800-919-9835 to see why they have not received their Stimulus Check are being told the following:

– that their check was mailed at the beginning of May;

– that the U.S. Postal Service returned it back to the IRS a couple of weeks later since mail was not being delivered to Europe at that time due to the COVID-19 pandemic;

– that the check was not mailed again even when the U.S. Postal Service started delivering mail again to Europe;

– if I understand well, the IRS is sending these returned Stimulus Checks again only to those people who call (+001) 800-919-9835.

So, if you filed your U.S. Tax Return before July and are still waiting for your Stimulus Check, I urge you to call the IRS on (+001) 800-919-9835 to see the status of your Stimulus Check, or at least check if the IRS has received your tax return.
