Many people are still waiting to receive their $1200 Stimulus Check or tax refund. Some have been waiting since March. The reasons for the delay can be many:
– the paper U.S. tax return may have been lost in the mail;
– it is still being processed – there is still a huge backlog of paper tax returns that are waiting to be processed;
– the Stimulus Check/tax refund check was mailed by the IRS (the U.S. tax department) but it was lost in the mail or is still on its way. Mail from the U.S to Europe is taking 4-6 weeks to arrive, and sometimes even more.

The IRS says that many frequently asked questions will be answered on the automated recording, and then you will have an option to speak live with a representative.
