The Stimulus Payment of $1400 should be signed into law soon, probably before March 14. That means that any adult person with a valid U.S. Social Security number is entitled to receive a total of $3200 in Stimulus Payments ($1200+$600+$1400). Children will also be entitled to the same amount.
To be eligible, you need to file your 2019 and 2020 tax return, unless you are already receiving a U.S. Social Security pension. The deadline to file is April 15, so please don’t leave things until the last minute.

President Biden signed the Stimulus Bill today. Therefore the $1400 payments will start being sent out in the coming days.

The 3rd Stimulus payment is now official. Expect to receive your $1400 in the next few days/weeks.

Those who have already filed their U.S. tax return for 2020 don’t need to do anything. They will receive it automatically. For those who have not filed it yet, the tax return and e-filing deadline is April 15.
